reaad about your commendable enterprise in MOAA.
But...I am in
Europe at an APO.Other than prohibitively costly mail/shipping, is there a way
you can get into the AAFES system? Then I could order your Adirondack things via
their catalogue.

Bill,

I have approached AAFES about getting our products into their system. I
have not heard back from them, but after your letter, I will re-energize trying.
I will also see if the U.S. Post Office will give us the same
"non-profit" rates if we ship to an APO....I will get back to everyone
about it. You can also pass the word that we are GSA and CCR (Government
purchasing system) listed; thus if the NCO Club at Baumholder wanted some
chairs, they can simply order directly. In any case, I will find out and thank
you for your kind words.

shadow box

Greetings. We have soldiers retiring from here every month and looking to
present them with a flag and shadow box. I saw your products and liked the flag
box but need a shadow box build under it. Can you provide an
estimate?

My husband passed away recently and I was looking for someone who could use his
clothes. I came across your article and I am so impressed with the wonderful
opportunity you have given these men. The article mentions a shelter that they
live in. Could you provide me with and address or phone number for these
shelters. I love your birdhouses and when I get through my hard times will come
and visit your shop. God Bless You and your company.

Pat,
Thanks for your interest and desire to send business to Vetmade instead of
other "big box" stores; this is so important to us. In the past we
would have said "absolutely, we can make bunkbeds" and we would have.
However, we are trying not to over task our workers with new items. We are
getting a lot of orders for our garden furniture, and the guys are working hard
to master their production. In the future we will be expanding our product lines
as well as taking on new products. As we used to say in the Rangers "Don't
confuse enthusiasm with capability". I would not want to promise you
something then not be able to deliver; especially an item we have never
attempted. I hope you understand and will keep in contact with us for future
updates. Thanks again for your thoughts of us. John C.

I, we, are so impressed and moved by the work you are doing
to help our veterans.
I am in charge of programs. We have a monthly
luncheon/meeting on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Dunedin Country
Club.
I believe you would make a wonderful, interesting speaker to our group
(all of them retired officers of all branches of the services) and perhaps could
bring 1 or 2 vets along with you, together with several small exhibits of the
work they do.
Won't you consider attending on April 8
(Wednesday). Luncheon
will be served and then you can speak to us about your work. I truly believe
the response will be overwhelming.

I also read the article about your organization. I am VERY impressed !!!
I am
a Navy Vet; and am really looking forward to purchasing an item or two as soon
as I can save the money. I know it will be worth every penny. I am also going
to write my Representatives and Pres. Obama - this is just what he was speaking
of in his innaugural address. People changing People. Helping others. Not
waiting for the Govt to do it.

I read the article in today's paper and was very impressed by what you are
doing.
We are retired Air Force. We own an antique mall and shop and could be
of help in marketing your product.
In particular on March 8th there will be a
one day outdoor show in Antique Alley that attracts a great deal of people and
you could display some of your products there.
Let us know if you have any
